Calling all Tenors and Basses

The Georgian Bay Concert Choir, with funding from the Trillium Foundation of Ontario, has engaged the services of baritone, Matt Cassils who was a soloist with us last season. He is an up and coming professional singer and will come to the Harmony Centre to offer free lessons starting Monday October 21st from 3-7pm for 6 weeks, to men interested in improving their singing skills. Matt will provide training for half hour sessions in vocal technique to those with some experience singing either in groups or individually and can read music at least at a basic level. You can check out his bio [link] through HNC Management – I’m sure you will be impressed. So please take advantage of this opportunity.

This program is in addition to the group sessions offered on Tuesday afternoons with vocal coach Dan Lenz, for men interested in learning to sing, read music, improve vocal technique and ear training.

Is this strictly for men only? What about female tenors?

Sorry to say, yes. We are trying to get more men singing, but thanks for your interest.
