Barbara Dyck
Barbara Dyck has been accompanying Georgian Bay Concert Choir since 2004. Highlights include playing piano for Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy, and harpsichord for Handel’s Messiah. Besides accompanying students and other soloists, Barb teaches group and private piano lessons from her studio space at The Colour Jar in Durham. Barb earned a B.A. at Goshen College, Indiana, and continued the study of piano pedagogy and performance with a master’s degree at The New School for Music Study in conjunction with Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey. Combining musicality with creativity, Barb endeavours to inform and inspire students and audiences.
